The work of Meghan Price is currently on exhibition at the Art Museum at the University of Toronto as part of an experimental group show that examines plastic as art material, cultural object, and geologic process. Plastic Heart: Surface All the Way Through links scientific and artistic methodologies to show how art-based approaches to thinking and working can make viable contributions to environmental science and activism.
“The Synthetic Collective who organized this group show, are doing really important work around plastic pollutions in the Great Lakes Region. I am excited to have these pieces included in this exhibition alongside works by so many great artist’s such as Kelly Jazvac, Amy Brener and Joyce Wieland.” - Meghan Price
