The SNAP Auction, Canada's premier photographic art auction, returns to an in-person event for the first time since 2019 on Thursday, March 23. To raise money for the integral work of the Aid's Committee of Toronto, this years list of participating artists include Ken Lum, Dana Claxton, Jorian Charlton, Adad Hannah, Chris Curreri, Jin-me Yoon, Ed Pien among other esteemed names and emerging contemporaries.
The curatorial committee is co-chaired by Craig D'Arville of FFOTO and United Contemporary's own Mel Trojkovic. The members of the curatorial team are as follows: Sophie Hackett (Curator of Photography, AGO), Karen Carter (BAND Gallery), Caroline Pearson (Director, Nicholas Metivier Gallery), Rita Godlevskis (Editor/Publisher, PhotoEd Magazine), Greg Manuel (independent curator), Emmy Lee Wall (Executive Director, Capture Festival), Vitor Pavao (Collection Technician, ROM) and Rui Mateus Amaral (Curator, MOCA).
