Overview
As fleeting and impressionable as an idea, over time water can carve granite."
We are thrilled to introduce The Poetics of Water, an enchanting collection of plein air paintings by Chuck Beamish. This suite of artworks unveils the familiar beauty and ever-changing nature of the Canadian landscape, particularly the breathtaking region of Algonquin and its surroundings. Through his brushstrokes, Beamish captures cascading waterfalls, vast lakes reflecting the colours of the changing seasons, and the ceaseless movement of streams that carve their way through the landscape. His depictions of snowy fields reveal the quiet and serene poetry that blankets the Canadian wilderness in winter. Beamish's plein air technique ensures an authentic connection to the landscapes he paints, and its varying seasons.
