Ready for Hearth: Group Show

There is a degree of intimacy and immediacy that is inherent in working with paper, and Ready for Hearth brings together the unique practices of six artists to recognise and explore this quality. Through collage, papier-mâché , illustration and painting, this group exhibition celebrates working with paper as not only fundamental to the artist’s practice but as a primary form of artistic communication. The viewer is invited to engage with the artists and their processes in an uninhibited and unhampered manner. Texture, movement, and the materials natural response to its environment, are all evident in the presentation of these collective works by Stefan Berg, Kachelle Knowles, Huy Lam, Rod Mireau, Linda Sormin, Badanna Zack.
